Who we are
Atlantic Roots Farm ("we", "us", "our") is a small ecological smallholding based in rural Ireland, operating the website AtlanticRoots.ie. For any questions about this statement or your personal data, contact us at atlanticrootsfarm@gmail.com.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us through our contact and newsletter forms:
- Your name (if you provide it)
- Your email address
- The content of your message
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Why we collect it
We use your information solely to reply to your enquiry or, where you have explicitly subscribed, to send occasional updates about the development of the farm. Our legal basis under GDPR is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to messages you send us.
How long we keep it
We keep messages only as long as is reasonably necessary to respond and maintain a small record of correspondence. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Information is stored using standard email and hosting services and is only accessed by the farm.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email atlanticrootsfarm@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Changes
As the farm grows, this statement may evolve — for example if we add an online shop or newsletter platform. Updates will be published on this page with a revised date.
